Discover, excite, inspire: Girls' & Boys' Day 2026 at the TUD

On Girls' & Boys' Day 2026, the TUD opened its doors again, as it has done for many years, and offered pupils the opportunity to get a taste of university life and discover new perspectives. Participants were able to immerse themselves in exciting subjects, leave clichés behind and gain their first experience in the world of research, studies and careers.

They were able to choose the one that suited them best from a wide range of offers. The day offered a perfect mix of discovery and participation: In hands-on workshops, for example, the girls programmed their own little robots, experimented in laboratories or learned how medical devices work. The students had fun playing ancient games with the Romans and immersed themselves in Romance studies - from rap to revolution! In addition, the participants were not only able to get active themselves, but also experience a typical day at the university - from the opening event in the lecture hall to the lunch break in the canteen.

The organizers of the day draw a very positive conclusion: Girls' & Boys' Day 2026 was a complete success and shows how important it is to show young people different educational paths at an early stage. The TUD wants to inspire young people to pursue new ideas with courage and openness and to develop their personal future prospects. Many thanks to all supporters and workshop leaders who made this diverse and inspiring program possible.
