UCC Schleswig-Holstein and UCC Hamburg organize NORD Workshops in Kiel, Lübeck, Hamburg; result in joint research projects and funding proposals
Collaborative workshops to initiate new research ideas and joint funding proposals
The NORD Workshops (Northern Oncology Research and Development) are organized jointly by the University Cancer Center Schleswig-Holstein (UCCSH) and the University Cancer Center Hamburg (UCC Hamburg). These interactive workshops focus on selected research topics and bring together researchers from both centers to strengthen collaboration and develop new scientific initiatives.
Held several times per year, each workshop is dedicated to a specific research focus within oncology. The events are designed to facilitate interdisciplinary exchange, enable researchers to present their work, and identify opportunities for joint research projects and funding proposals.
Participants include clinician scientists, principal investigators, postdoctoral researchers, and doctoral students. Short presentations and poster discussions provide a platform for sharing research ideas and initiating new collaborations across institutions.
