CAVIAR COLLECTION

The Caviar Collection is one of the
most recognisable expressions of
Buccellati’s formal design language. It
features a silver surface defined by a
dense constellation of hand-crafted
microspheres, a texture that recalls the
appearance of caviar and that, over
time, has become one of the Maison’s
distinctive hallmarks.

This motif is used in numerous tableware items, including caviar spoons, trays,
plates, ice buckets, Murano glassware and flutes. The range is now expanding to
include new additions: a new complete flatware set, two caviar bowls
in different sizes, and a bread plate, further enriching Buccellati's
tableware offerings.

The spherical design, a longstanding feature of Buccellati's jewellery and silverware, is one of the Maison’s
distinctive elements. Reinterpreted by Andrea Buccellati for this collection, the motif is created from an original
drawing by the designer, as with all Buccellati creations. This is followed by the creation of a delicate “crown” of
silver microspheres that gives the Caviar collection's signature motif its shape, which appears in the various
pieces in the collection. This motif finds one of its finest expressions in
the Cratere delle Muse (1981), one of Gianmaria Buccellati's most
significant works. Part of the Oggetti Preziosi collection, conceived to
celebrate the great goldsmithing tradition and ideally live up to the masters
of the past, the cup – crafted in silver, gold, Jades and Sapphires – is unique.
Now part of the Fondazione Gianmaria Buccellati, the work is an iconic
reference point in the Maison's creative journey.

The new tableware collection continues this tradition, preserving the artisanal principles that have defined the
collection's identity since its inception. Each element is crafted using traditional manual silversmithing techniques,
adding uniqueness and character to each surface. The Caviar Collection thus exemplifies design and
manufacturing continuity, where artisanal practice remains central to the creation of objects designed to be used,
appreciated and passed down over time.

BUCCELLATI
Buccellati is a renowned high-jewelry and silverware Maison, admired for its craftmanship and the uniqueness of its creations. Distinctive is the use of
rare stones with extraordinary colors, mixed with white and yellow gold, all nicely carved like laces. Today, the Buccellati jewels stand out for their
design and for the techniques used to create them, such as the hand-engraving technique, dating back to the ancient goldsmithing traditions of the
Italian “bottega” during the Renaissance times. The shapes of the collections are all inspired the historical archive drawings and by the very first
creations of the founder, Mario Buccellati. Today, the Maison is 100% owned by Richemont, but the Buccellati family is still present in the company
with top level managerial functions. Buccellati boutiques are present in the most important cities and in the most prestigious Malls of the world.
