Geistlich launches advanced collagen membrane

Schlieren - The regeneration specialist Geistlich Pharma has presented its advanced collagen membrane, the Geistlich Bio-Gide Forte, at the International Osteology Symposium (IOS). The launch is part of a global portfolio expansion.

In astatement, the company particularly highlights the collagen membrane Geistlich Bio-Gide Forte, which is now also available on the European market following successful feedback from the USA.

Geistlich Bio-Gide Forte is a collagen membrane for reliable bone regeneration and optimal tissue integration with a natural bilayer collagen structure, the company explains. In comparison with the tried and testedGeistlich Bio-Gide, the “Forte” variant is said to offer increased strength, improved stability and easy handling. The further development comes as part of Geistlich’s global portfolio expansion, which will see a total of 20 new products launched in more than 40 countries to market the company’s 175 year anniversary in 2026.

The IOS also reaffirmed Geistlichs commitment to promoting young emerging talent. The Next Generation Round Table program offers 67 selected clinicians between the ages of 30 and 42 from around the world the opportunity to embark on a three-year training program. Moreover, outstanding achievements in clinical practice were recognized on the IOS stage as part of the Rising Stars Case Competition. ce
