NITO Østfold invites pensioner members to a pleasant afternoon. Here you get a unique insight into electronic warfare with fighter jets, mediated by Viggo Stenbekk.

NITO Østfold invites you to a pleasant afternoon with lectures and fun. Here you will learn more about how electronic warfare with fighter jets was developed and used in Norway’s invasion defense during the Cold War. Viggo Stenbekk gives a unique insight into a very advanced industrial project developed in collaboration between Kongsberg Gruppen and the Norwegian Defence Research Establishment (FFI).

You will hear about the background for the project, the technological solution and how the system was intended to be used operationally during a demanding security policy period. The lecture provides both historical and technological understanding – conveyed in an accessible and engaging way.

After the lecture, food and coffee will be served in the restaurant.
