TUD welcomes 33 newly appointed professors

33 Wissenschaftlerinnen und Wissenschafter sind zwischen Mai 2025 und April 2026 an die TUD berufen worden. Der Neuberufenenempfang bot Möglichkeit zur Vernetzung.

Laying the groundwork for pioneering research and teaching: On April 28, 2026, the Rector of TUD Dresden University of Technology, Prof. Ursula M. Staudinger, officially welcomed to the university the newly appointed professors who accepted their appointments at TUD between May 2025 and April 2026. The festive reception for the new appointees gave the 33 scholars the opportunity to meet the members of the University Executive Board in person, network with other new appointees across faculty boundaries, and learn about the numerous support services offered by TUD.

With the reception for new appointees, TUD paves the way for researchers to become better acquainted with the university’s structures, thereby facilitating their integration into our TUD community. In addition to inaugural lectures in their respective faculties, new appointees who are of outstanding strategic importance to TUD’s research profile present their work atuniversity-wide inaugural lectures.
