In this episode, we accompany Boris Bottinelli on one of his final missions with the Da Vinci and show how he, as a paramedic at the Rega base in Locarno, prepares for the new Airbus Helicopters H145 D3 rescue helicopter.

With fourteen operational bases spread across the country, Rega provides round-the-clock basic medical care by air. By the beginning of 2027, all rescue helicopters currently in service will be replaced by 21 new Airbus H145 D3s. We are documenting this major project in several stages and giving you an exclusive behind-the-scenes look in our videos.
