Confidence in the Trent 1000 XE is based on the real operational experience of the re-engineered HPT blade on the Trent 7000, which has already accumulated more than 2 million flying hours based on the same improvements. Rolls-Royce has also made a significant investment in its MRO network, delivering an increase in annual shop-visit capacity and reduction in turnaround times, with new dedicated Trent 1000 XE facilities in the UK, Singapore and Germany. This is further supported by a significant expansion of its global spare engine pool, ensuring fleet availability and protecting airlines against unplanned operational disruption. This investment sits on top of a broader £1 billion commitment to the development and enhancement of the Trent engine family.
