University of Bern's Mathematical Institute offers CAS in extended intelligence in Bern; up to three reduced-rate places for refugees.

Studies: Continuing education - University of Bern

Continuing education in the field of extended intelligence

The Mathematical Institute offers various continuing education courses (Certificates of Advanced Studies, CAS) in the field of extended intelligence.

Natural Language Processing (AI for languages)

The continuing education courses last 1-2 years with a total of 18 days of attendance in the form of block courses and classes on Fridays (16 ECTS, around 480 working hours). The CAS can be attended while working. Good English skills (B1-B2) are a requirement.

A CAS is a recognized certificate, but it is not a substitute for a regular university degree. On the Swiss job market, a CAS can be a valuable addition to a foreign university degree.

For refugees with a foreign university degree (at least a bachelor's degree) and

or professional experience in the fields of Data Processing, Data Science, or Computer Science, up to three study places are offered each year at a reduced rate (CHF 6,900).

Information on the various continuing education courses and registration can be found here:Continuing Education - Mathematical Institute
