The Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) is accepting applications for theRIBA Norman Foster Travelling Scholarship, a £9,000 award that supports international travel for research focused on the sustainable future of cities.
Students in thesecondorthird year of Bachelor SARwho wish to be considered for nomination are invited to contact thesection’s directionand provide areference of a project or other academic workthat demonstrates original thinking on issues that relate to the survival and the future of cities. Individuals enrolled in Master’s or PhD programmes are not eligible. As only one application may be submitted per school, individual applications are not accepted directly by RIBA.
Candidates may therefore be assessed internally based on:
The relevance of the proposed project in relation to the scholarship theme
The final grade awarded for that project
The proposed research topic should address the sustainable survival and future of cities and fall under one or more of the following themes:
Learning from the past to inform the future
