We on school trip visit National Marine Aquarium in Plymouth; low tide reveals sandbanks along River Plym

Day 5

Plymouth

Today we finally went to the city where the story of our English book takes place -
Plymouth !

We started our day with a bus ride to the National Marine Aquarium in Plymouth.
On our way there, we saw the River Plym. It was low tide at that moment. The water
had gone back so far that you could see the sandbanks. When we arrived at the
aquarium, we looked around. There were many interesting fish and other sea animals.
We also went to a shark show, where we learned something about the animals that
live in the tank. Some people even bought something in the shop! Even Mr. Adam
couldn’t resist buying a pink narwhal.

After that, we had a rally, where we did different tasks. We saw sights like the
Smeaton’s Tower or the Elizabethan House. We also went to the lido and had to imitate
Silky (the seal from our English book)

All in all, we had a very nice and funny day. We were very grateful to be there. We
want to say thanks to everyone, who helped to organize the trip and of course to our
parents.
