Switch to Online Budget Chart for Lump Sum Projects
The Excel template in use forbudget calculations in lump sum projectswill be replacedover the course of 2026 by an online chart, which is already in test-use for some subject areas within Cluster 5.
A new feature is that the online chart has been integrated into the application forms for Part A. The scope of information and the evaluation criteria regarding the budget remain unaffected by the format change.
The format switch is expected to be applied to mire lump sum project calls step by step.It remains unclear, when the budget calculation changes will be applied to the remaining Horizon Europe program sections.
We recommend that you check in advance whether the format switch has already taken effect for your lump sum project. For a transitional period, the Excel template can still be used in parallel with the online budget chart.
