Torquay International School students last day trip to Kent’s Cavern and Torre Abbey, Torquay; saw skeletons of dinosaurs and touchable fossils
Day 12
Last Day of School, Kent’s Cavern, Torre Abbey
In this morning at 8:35 am we went to class to our last day at Torquay International School. We really enjoyed our time there. After we had received our certificates and taken a group photo, we went to Kent‘s Cavern. When we arrived we had to wait some minutes until we were guided through the cave. The tour guide told us that cavemen lived there thousands of years ago and about animals that lived there, such as cave bears or sabertoothed cats. We found it very interesting to know more about the cave and its history. At the end of the tour, we saw skeletons of dinosaus and even a touchable fossils. As the cherry on top we went to Torre Abbey, where multiple ruins and foundation pieces were exhibited. There we saw for example a statue, or rather what’s left of it. We also saw art, a garden with a quiet atmosphere and of course with beautiful plants and also statues We had a really amazing time there and we could catch some cool moments like Mr Adam’s insane posing in front of the camera:) or our group photo together At 4:55 pm we walked back to Torquay and had a bit of free time there. Then we went back to our meeting point „The Princess Theater“ where the bus picked us up. We think it was an eventful day of our trip to England.
