Thebasketballphenom will lead his San Antonio Spurs against the New Orleans Pelicans in a pair of regular-season games in Paris and Manchester in January 2027, the NBA announced today (20 May), putting the French star in front of home fans once again.
The two teams will meet at Paris’s Accor Arena on Thursday 14 January before crossing the Channel to play at Co-op Live in Manchester on Sunday 17 January.

Home comforts for Victor Wembanyama
The trip marks the second time Wembanyama will suit up on French soil as an NBA player, after San Antonio faced the Indiana Pacers in Paris in January 2025.
Wembanyama, the 2026 Defensive Player of the Year, is currently engaged in the Western Conference Finals, where his Spurs hold a 1-0 lead over the Oklahoma City Thunder in the best-of-seven series, courtesy of a 41-point, 24-rebound effort in a double-overtime Game 1 win.
The NBA Paris Game 2027 will be the league’s sixth regular-season game in the French capital and the 16th featuring an NBA team in France since 1991. The Manchester fixture marks the NBA’s first regular-season game in the city and the 20th featuring an NBA team in England since 1993.
