Discover which teams have qualified for the playoffs in Zurich and Fribourg, Switzerland, at the 2026 Ice Hockey World Championship.

ZurichandFribourg, Switzerland, play host to the2026 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship, taking place from 15–31 May.

Sixteenice hockeynational teams will play a total of 64 games at the Swiss Life Arena and BCF Arena, culminating in the medal finals at the end of May in Zurich.

With teams split into two groups of eight, the top four teams from each group will reach the playoffs in Switzerland.
