The International Skating Union (ISU) revealed the assignments for its six-stop series in the post-Olympic season, which also includes three-time and reigning world champion Ilia Malinin.

The post-Olympic figure skating season is set. And the stars of the sport are heading back out onto competitive ice.

The International Skating Union (ISU) revealed its assignments for the ISU Figure Skating Grand Prix Series 2026-27 on Tuesday (16 June), with reigning Olympic champions Alysa Liu , Mikhail Shaidorov and Laurence Fournier-Beaudry

Guillaume Cizeron all set to feature.

Three-time and reigning world champion Ilia Malinin will also compete, as will his fellow American standouts Amber Glenn and Jason Brown , as well as the reigning world champions in pairs, Olympic bronze medallists Minerva Hase and Nikita Volodin of Germany.

Skaters or teams are typically assigned to two events, where they look to earn points for the mid-season Grand Prix Final , which this year is set for Chongqing, People’s Republic of China, 10-13 December.

The series marks the first major step towards the Olympic Winter Games French Alps 2030 , with the 2027 World Figure Skating Championships set for Tampere, Finland.

Mikhail Shaidorov: Figure skating’s darkhorse hero and Kazakhstan’s golden pride

“Friday the 13th is an unlucky number, but for us, now it’s golden”. Mikhail Shaidorov turned superstitions and figure skating upside down when he won Kazakhstan’s first-ever gold medal in the sport and first gold at a Winter Olympics since 1994. “Blade Angels” teammates Liu and Glenn will go head-to-head at Skate America in the fourth week of the Grand Prix (13-15 November) before Liu hops a plane for Finlandia Trophy the next week.

Malinin and Brown will join their American compatriots in Everett, Wash., for Skate America, before both men head to the sixth and final stop at NHK Trophy (27-29 November) in Tokyo.

Shaidorov will skate at a major international event for the first time since his stunning win at Milano Cortina 2026 in the first week of the series at the Grand Prix de France , where he’ll meet home hope Adam Siao Him Fa .

Cizeron will be in Angers, France, as well (23-25 Oct.).
