Olympian Fouaad Mirza and Hriday Chheda were named in India’s equestrian squad for the Asian Games 2026 , scheduled in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan, from September 19 to October 4.

India’s previous three equestrian gold medals came at Delhi 1982, when the sport made its Asian Games debut. Overall, India have won 14 medals in equestrian at the Asian Games.
