A conversation dedicated to a new series of paintings by Albanian artist Iva Lulashi, created in response to

, the EP by Colombian producer DFRA, a house music record infused with jazz influences, relased by the Berlin-based label Ascension on Wax. During the event, the artist joins the speakers in retracing the origins of the project, which began with

, a painting depicting two young women who appear to be dancing together but, on closer inspection, could just as easily be running away. Starting from this work, Lulashi selected twenty stills from her personal archive, each capturing the moment immediately before or after an intimate act. Printed on 12-inch canvases, in reference to the format of vinyl records, the images were entrusted to eight artists from Milan’s contemporary art scene, who were invited to reinterpret them. The series will be on display during the event.
