Apple Valley - GF Building Flow Solutions has officially reopened its North American headquarters in Apple Valley in the US State of Minnesota. The renovated former Uponor site, a company taken over at the end of 2023, will now offer space for 800 employees across an area of nearly 4,400 square meters.

( CONNECT ) GF Building Flow Solutions has reopened its headquarters in the USA, as detailed in a statement . The refurbishment of the former site of the company Uponor in Apple Valley in the US State of Minnesota was designed by the commercial construction specialist HGA and realized by the Canadian construction firm PCL Construction . Uponor was taken over in November 2023 by the Schaffhausen-based Georg Fischer AG ( GF ). Across an area of nearly 4,400 square meters, the redesigned building offers office space, laboratory facilities and meeting rooms, in addition to space for more than 800 employees.

The merger of GF and Uponor represents an attempt to strengthen global solutions for water transport, building services and energy-efficient heating and cooling. Initially created as GF Uponor, the business was renamed GF Building Flow Solutions in April 2024 and designated as a regional division. It continues the internationally well recognized brand Uponor.

Aside from Reutter, the Swiss Ambassador to the USA, Ralf Heckner, also spoke during the opening ceremony, as did Clint Hooppaw, the Mayor of Apple Valley. US Senator Amy Klobuchar, who had previously been shown around the GF Building Flow Solutions facility, sent in a video message. ce
