Munich - Comitas AG, based in Schlieren in the Swiss canton of Zurich, is joining the Munich-based Axaitra Group while retaining its brand identity and independence. The members of the network aim to become Europe’s leading Microsoft partner for artificial intelligence.

( CONNECT ) Software and Azure solutions provider Comitas is joining the Axaitra Group . According to a statement , the company will continue to operate independently within Axaitra while contributing to the group’s vision and mission: to develop Europe’s most advanced Microsoft-centric platform for artificial intelligence (AI)-powered solutions.

Axaitra specializes in Microsoft-centric cloud, data, and AI services. Together with fellow Munich-based business Greenpeak Partners , Axaitra supports small and large mid-market service providers focused on public cloud and AI services by helping them adopt cloud technologies and leverage AI through cost-effective, automated managed services. Its goal is to help shape the European cloud and AI service provider of the future in partnership with Microsoft.

For Axaitra CEO Robert Helgerth, Comitas brings “real substance” to the partnership. “An experienced team, long-standing customer relationships, and an uncompromising standard for security and governance – that’s exactly the foundation we need to translate AI agents into measurable value in regulated environments,” he is quoted as saying. “Together, we’re building Europe’s leading Microsoft AI partner network – and Comitas is an ideal building block for that.” Helgerth is a former member of Microsoft’s German management team and later led Microsoft’s European and Asian partner organizations.

According to André Brühlmann, co-founder and CEO of Comitas, his company was looking for a partner that wouldn’t “slow our ambitions down”. He said: “With AXAITRA, we gain access to technology, expertise, and a network that is actively shaping AI transformation across Europe. For our team, this is a real step forward – and for our customers, the trusted point of contact they know stays exactly the same, now with new possibilities alongside it.” ce
