NBA Canada Games 2026: Giannis Antetokounmpo’s Miami Heat to meet the Toronto Raptors in Quebec City

Quebec City will stage its first NBA game on 3 October when Antetokounmpo’s new team face Toronto, before the Raptors take on the LA Clippers in Vancouver a week later.

The NBA will hold two preseason games in Canada this autumn, with the Toronto Raptors facing the Miami Heat at Videotron Centre in Quebec City on 3 October , before taking on the LA Clippers at Rogers Arena in Vancouver on 10 October .

The Quebec City fixture will be the league’s first basketball game in the city, making it the seventh Canadian city to host one.

The Vancouver meeting will be the eighth NBA game staged there, and the 22nd Canada game since 2012.

Greece’s Giannis Antetokounmpo in action against Canada at Paris 2024

Miami’s roster now features Giannis Antetokounmpo , who joined the Heat from the Milwaukee Bucks in June.

The two-time NBA MVP was Greece’s flagbearer at the Paris 2024 Opening Ceremony and led his country to its first Olympic basketball win in 16 years.

Antetokounmpo will line up alongside Bam Adebayo , a two-time Olympic gold medallist with the United States at Tokyo 2020 and Paris 2024, and Canadian forward Andrew Wiggins .

Toronto’s roster includes RJ Barrett , who helped Canada reach the quarter-finals at Paris 2024.

“Growing up in Canada, I always dreamed of seeing the game continue to grow back home, and now I get to be part of that history,” Wiggins said in the NBA’s announcement of the games.

Tickets go on sale in both markets on Thursday, 20 August.
