Ahead Health is a proactive and personalized healthcare platform. It combines comprehensive blood tests, full-body MRI scans, and an artificial intelligence (AI)-powered platform where members can enter their medical history, integrating everything into a single, medically reviewed checkup. In Switzerland, Ahead Health has established a network of more than 20 partner centers and a growing range of services that provide customers with a continuous picture of their health rather than a one-time assessment, according to the statement.
The company has opened a first location in Germany, in Munich, while in the Netherlands patients can sign up for a health checkup. Ahead Health collaborates with the local healthcare system as well as established clinics, laboratories, radiology centers, and physicians.
“Healthcare today is still largely designed to respond once people are already ill,” Anna Erat, Chief Medical Officer von AheadHealth, is quoted as saying. “The real opportunity is to detect the earliest signals that may lead to disease – or suboptimal health – and empower individuals to optimise their long-term health and performance through clear, personalised actions, supported by the best technologies available today.”
Peter Lasinger, a partner at 3VC, said the firm invested in Ahead Health because he is convinced the company combines “a deeply mission-driven culture, with absolute rigor and deep technical excellence” that is transforming healthcare from the ground up. ce
