The Korea Masters 2026 badminton tournament gets underway in Asan on Tuesday, with Tanvi Sharma and Kidambi Srikanth leading the Indian challenge at the BWF Super 300 event.

Live streaming of the Korea Masters badminton , scheduled from August 4 to 9, will be available to watch in India.

Tanvi Sharma, 17, arrives in the Republic of Korea after clinching her maiden BWF World Tour title at the Taipei Open on Sunday.

The world No. 35 shuttler defeated Vietnam's sixth seed Nguyen Thuy Linh in the final to become only the fourth Indian women's singles badminton player to win a BWF Super 300 or higher title after Saina Nehwal , PV Sindhu and Devika Sihag.

With two-time Olympic medallist PV Sindhu taking a break and Unnati Hooda not competing, third seed Tanvi is India's highest-ranked player in the women's singles draw.

Anmol Kharb strengthens India's women's singles challenge alongside Malvika Bansod .

In the men's singles, third seed Kidambi Srikanth, ranked world No. 33, returns to competition after a first-round exit at the Canada Open in the first week of July.

The former world No. 1 Indian badminton player finished runner-up at the US Open, where he defeated the likes of Paris 2024 bronze medallist Lee Zii Jia of Malaysia and Japan's Yudai Okimoto before falling to Chinese Taipei's Su Li Yang in the final.

Asian Games men’s doubles champions Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty remain sidelined as Satwik continues his recovery from the shoulder injury he sustained during the Indonesia Open in June.

World No. 77 pair of Bhargav Ram Arigela and Viswa Tej Gobburu will be India’s top-ranked men’s doubles pair in South Korea.

Priya Konjengbam and Shruti Mishra will lead India in the women's doubles.

India will also have three mixed doubles pairs in action: Ishaan Bhatnagar-Shruti Mishra, Dhruv Rawat-Maneesha K and Sathwik Reddy Kanapuram-Radhika Sharma.
