Press release
Geneva, 3 August 2026
Dyneo secures Technology Fund backing and enters a
new phase of growth
Dyneo Technologies SA, a Geneva-based company specialising in data intelligence for district
heating and cooling networks, joins the Technology Fund's portfolio. As an instrument of the Swiss
Confederation's climate policy, the Technology Fund provides loan guarantees to Swiss companies
whose innovative products contribute to a sustainable reduction in greenhouse gas emissions. The
guarantee will enable Dyneo to accelerate its growth and expand across Europe.
“Dyneo Technologies SA demonstrates how artificial intelligence can accelerate the decarbonisation
of critical energy infrastructure. By supporting innovative Swiss cleantech companies during their
growth phase, the Technology Fund helps bring solutions with significant climate impact to market
faster”, says Simone Riedel Riley, General Manager of the Swiss Technology Fund.
Today, heating networks generate millions of data points that operations teams cannot analyse on
their own. Drawing on artificial intelligence models developed in-house, Dyneo's technology turns
this data into decisions: detecting drift before a failure occurs, locating and contextualising
thermal losses, adjusting network control. Without replacing existing equipment, it multiplies
operators' analytical capacity and improves the performance of infrastructure critical to the
energy transition. Less energy produced for the same service delivered means just as many
emissions avoided.
A lever for international expansion
The guaranteed bank loan is part of Dyneo's international product and commercial development
strategy. The financing will support the industrialisation of the data intelligence platform designed
for district heating and cooling network operators, as well as commercial acceleration in the Swiss,
French and Belgian markets, ahead of a broader European expansion.
The efficiency potential is considerable at the scale of the continent. Europe has more than 19,000
heating networks serving nearly 80 million people (Euroheat & Power, DHC Market Outlook 2025),
and distribution losses typically represent 10 to 15% of the heat produced. Applied to the European
fleet, they amount to billions of euros every year.
“This support allows us to increase the impact of our technology by giving us the means to invest in
our teams and in the product. It is also a signal to the operators who entrust us with the management
of their networks: Dyneo is here for the long term, just like their infrastructure”, adds Maël Perret,
CEO of Dyneo.
