The world’s best young athletics talent will compete in Eugene, Oregon from 5-9 August. See who made a star-studded Team USA roster.

Hayward Field will host the world’s best young track and field stars at the World Athletics U20 Championships in Eugene, Oregon from 5-9 August.

Among the 1,800 track and field athletes are 89 of the United States’ rising stars.

Team USA’s roster includes U20 record holders and even a 4x400 Olympic champion.

Among the brightest names, future Texas Tech University freshman Tate Taylor won the 200m in a personal best time of 19.75 seconds at last month’s Prefontaine Classic. He holds the American U20 record in the 100m, clocking 9.92 seconds last year. In Eugene, he will compete in both events, as well as the 4x100m relay.

American U20 record holder Le’Ezra Brown will race in the men’s 110m hurdles, while Sophia Mazzoni competes in the women’s javelin. Claire Stegall will line up in the women’s 1500m.

18-year-old Paris 2024 Olympic relay champion Quincy Wilson competes in the 400m and the 4x400m relay.
