Setting up a Smart Agriculture Platform - Reforms and Investments

The Smart Agriculture platform offers knowledge, services and information. The platform is developed and stewarded by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, and its overarching mandate is to facilitate comprehensive modernization and digital transformation, while being designed to continually expand and advance in alignment with the progressively evolving requirements of the agricultural sector and the broader socio‑economic development of society as a whole. The platform provides access to various forms of professional development, including eLearning, webinars, registration for courses and demonstrations, digital educational materials, expert analysis, data-driven advice and recommendations grounded in current field and farm information, innovation and application of new technologies in the field of agriculture.

This EUR 6.6 million investment delivered data‑acquisition infrastructure, processing components and a unified access platform.
