Jackson Irvine leaves St. Pauli for Japan
Australia international Jackson Irvine has left St. Pauli to join Japanese J-League outfit Cerezo Osaka.
Irvine quickly established himself as a key player for Pauli after joining the club in 2021, making 153 appearances in all competitions and helping the Hamburg outfit into the Bundesliga in 2024.
The midfielder, who was part of the Socceroos squad at the FIFA World Cup 2026 , registered 15 goals and 21 assists during his time with Die Kiezkicker .

“After returning from the World Cup, Jackson approached us with the request to move to Japan,” said St. Pauli director of sport Andreas Bornemann. “Following extensive talks, we’ve agreed to his request.
