MUX TACAIR | Northrop Grumman

MUX TACAIR, the U.S. Marine Corps’ Marine Air‑Ground Task Force Uncrewed Expeditionary Tactical Aircraft (MUX TACAIR) program, develops a scalable, affordable uncrewed combat system integrating advanced autonomous mission kits for seamless operation with crewed fighters in contested airspaces, backed by Northrop Grumman’s manufacturing scale and innovation.

MUX TACAIR combines modular, low SWaP (size, weight and power) autonomous mission kits with scalable production to enhance uncrewed combat system affordability and readiness.

Northrop Grumman’s extensive manufacturing capacity and integrated mission kit design accelerate MUX TACAIR deployment and mission adaptability.

Mission on Demand: Manufacturing Scalability Delivered

Over the last 2 years Northrop Grumman has invested in more than 20 new manufacturing facilities, adding more than 2 million sq feet. This includes the Blue Ridge Manufacturing Center in Waynesboro, VA where we will be manufacturing portions of the MUX TACAIR mission kit.
