PhD Defence: Hugo Firmo | BI Public lecture and defence of the doctoral dissertation for the degree of PhD Starts: 11:00, 20 August 2026 Ends: 15:30, 20 August 2026 Location: BI - campus Oslo, B2 - 010 PhD Candidate Hugo Firmo, Department of Strategy and Entrepreneurship, will hold a public lecture and defend his doctoral dissertation for the degree of PhD in BI Norwegian Business School's PhD programme. The Title of the Thesis: “Creating a Path to Sustainable Business: Growth, Narratives, and Value Rationality in Circular Business Models” The Public lecture will be on a given topic. Time for Public Lecture: 11:00 - 11:55 CEST (door closes at 11:00 sharp) Time for Disputation: 13:00 CEST (door closes at 13:00 sharp) For the disputation, the academic procession will arrive at 13:00 sharp , and the public must take their seat before this time. From this time on, the doors will be closed, and no additional guests will be allowed in or out. Please arrive at both the Public Lecture and the Disputation a few minutes before they start.
