On Friday, August 7, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. , Minister President Sven Schulze will attend the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of a new cement mill at the Karsdorf cement plant and deliver a welcoming address.

thomas zement GmbH is investing approximately €50 million at the site to build a new cement mill. The project will result in significant energy savings compared to conventional plants.

The groundbreaking ceremony will take place at: 06638 Karsdorf, Straße d. Einheit 25 B.
