Sarpsborg 08 FF are set to return to Sarpsborg Stadion on 16 August for a crunch Eliteserien clash with Sandefjord, kicking off an intense run of three home fixtures in three weeks. A Norwegian Cup derby against local rivals Sparta Sarpsborg follows days later, with a league clash against Vålerenga rounding off the stretch. Tickets for the Sandefjord match are already on sale.
Back on Home Turf After Away Run
Sarpsborg 08 FF are preparing to return to Sarpsborg Stadion for the first time since late July, when they host Sandefjord in Round 18 of the Eliteserien on 16 August at 15:00. The match comes after back-to-back away fixtures against Molde and Viking, making it a long-awaited return for the club’s supporters.
The Sandefjord tie is one of only two home league matches across a six-week stretch — the next being a fixture against Vålerenga on 7 September — meaning demand for tickets is running high. Tickets are already on sale.
Sarpsborg 08 head into the home run in decent form after edging Viking in an Eliteserien away clash on 8 August. The narrow 2–1 defeat at Lyse Arena in Stavanger was a setback, but the club had previously put together a solid run that leaves them sitting seventh in the Eliteserien table with 22 points from 16 matches.
