FEI World Championships Aachen 2026: Schedule, all results and how to watch LA28 qualifier live
If there’s one equestrian event to watch in 2026, it’s the FEI World Championships Aachen. Discover the full schedule, all results, LA28 qualification stakes and how to follow the action live.
It’s official: the road to the LA28 Olympic Games is underway for the world’s best equestrian athletes.
From 11-23 August, the FEI World Championships Aachen 2026 will bring more than 800 athletes and horses from close to 70 nations to Aachen, Germany, with world titles on the line across six disciplines: Jumping, Dressage, Eventing, Para Dressage, Driving and Vaulting.
For anyone familiar with equestrian sport, Aachen needs little introduction. The German city is home to the prestigious CHIO Aachen competition, often described as the “Wimbledon of equestrian sport”, and has a rich history of staging the sport’s biggest championships, including the 2006 FEI World Equestrian Games and the 2015 European Championships. In 2026, the top horse-rider pairs return to one of equestrian sport’s most beloved stages.
But this time, there is far more than world championship gold at stake.
Aachen is also where the road to Los Angeles begins in earnest. Across Dressage, Eventing, Jumping and Para Dressage, 27 National Olympic Committees (NOCs) can secure team quota spots* for LA28.
Dressage will award six team quotas, with seven each available in Eventing, Jumping and Para Dressage.
Read on for a full schedule and full list of results from the event - updated live.
*As National Olympic Committees have the exclusive authority for the representation of their respective teams at the Olympic Games, athletes’ participation at the LA Games depends on their NOC selecting them to represent their delegation at LA28.
