Continental titles are on the line in Zagreb, Croatia with the women’s event from 13-16 August and the men’s from 19-23 August.
The 2026 European Gymnastics Championships take place from 13-23 August with Croatia hosting the continent’s finest for the first time.
The nation’s capital, Zagreb, hosts the women’s event first from 13-16 August with the men’s edition following from 19-23 August.
Olympic and world medallists competing include Manila Esposito of Italy, who is aiming for a third consecutive all-around title in the women’s event but will be vying with reigning world’s best Angelina Melnikova . France’s superstar-in-waiting Elena Colas is also one to watch at her first senior continental championships.
In the second week, Türkiye’s Adem Asil is eyeing the defence of his men’s all-around title but the 2024 champion, Marios Georgiou of Cyprus showed a return to form at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow at the end of July and will be a key adversary. Olympic, world and European champion on pommel horse, Rhys McClenaghan , will be eyeing a return to form following a lengthy injury lay off, after a disappointing showing in Scotland.
