Aderis receives investment from Viennese venture capital fund 3VC

Vienna - 3VC has invested in the Zurich-based startup Aderis. In so doing, the Viennese venture capital fund is seeking to support Aderis in its efforts to become the European market leader for ERP systems by leveraging its AI-native Live Finance platform.

( CONNECT ) The Zurich-based start-up Aderis has received financing from the venture capital firm 3VC , which is based in the Austrian capital Vienna. Elian Kool, founder and CEO of Aderis, and his team have developed an ERP system that is intended to replace legacy systems, which were mostly developed before the year 2000 and subsequently retrofitted to include Artificial Intelligence (AI) functions.

After all, as 3VC explains in a statement , these legacy systems are now “reaching end-of-life and forcing migration cycles”, while the pool of accounting talent is shrinking and AI has only recently become capable of automating core financial workflows with real accuracy. Europe alone is said to offer billion-euro potential for Aderis’s Live Finance platform, which the company hopes will propel it to become the European market leader.

“At 3VC, we believe in next-generation ERP systems”, the statement explains. “The ERP of the future needs to be AI-native, modular, and API-first. We believe teams should be able to automate and apply agentic workflows while retaining traceability of every decision and booking made. Kool co-founded Netcentric in 2012 and built it in Zurich into a successful, pan-European consultancy for digital marketing with more than 600 employees. “We believe Elian’s vision, experience, speed of execution coupled with his ability to hire and inspire top talent are key in a market that is contested by several well-funded players”, 3VC writes.

The ERP system developed by Aderis is an AI-native ERP platform designed for consumer goods companies that operate via various branches and in a range of currencies across different countries. According to the company, its initial customers include businesses in sectors such as manufacturing, e-commerce, medical technology and the hospitality industry. The company states that “these customers have been impressed by Aderis’ ability to go live within days and the clear ROI”. ce
