Radioactive burger: An evening about risk, nuclear power and the energy of the future
We hope to learn more about one of Norway’s most current energy issues: Does nuclear power have a place in the power system of the future?
We combine good food with short, current perspectives on nuclear power, small modular reactors, risk, radioactive waste and electricity prices.
Why this is relevant now
Nuclear power is once again on the agenda in Norway. This evening you will have the opportunity to ask questions, share perspectives and be better equipped to follow the debate further.
Feel free to bring your own questions – or think about some of the following before you come:
What worries you most about nuclear power?
What seems most promising about new nuclear power technology?
What requirements should be set for security, transparency and local participation?
Can nuclear power become a useful supplement to Norwegian energy supply?
We treat ourselves to burgers, each individual buys what they want of drinks
If you have allergies, this will be reported when you sign up
We have a noshow (400,-) by not cancelled
Are you in doubt whether you are registered? Check www.nito.no Your page
Welcome to an evening of knowledge, discussion and new perspectives – bring your curiosity!
