The road to LA28 begins at the 2026 Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships in Frankfurt from 12-16 August. Discover the schedule, results and how to follow the first Olympic qualifier.
The world’s best rhythmic gymnasts are heading to Frankfurt, Germany, from 12- 16 August for the 2026 Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships , where athletes will have a chance to compete for world titles as well as secure quota spots for their National Olympic Committee (NOC) for the upcoming Olympic Games LA28 .
A total of 343 gymnasts (101 individual athletes and 42 groups, representing 73 countries) will converge on Frankfurt for this Olympic qualifier.
In the individual competition, the three highest-ranked athletes in the individual all-around final will each earn a coveted Olympic quota place* for their respective National Olympic Committee (NOC). In the group competition, the three highest-ranked NOCs in the group all-around final will each earn qualification for a five-gymnast group at LA28.

*As National Olympic Committees have the exclusive authority for the representation of their respective teams at the Olympic Games, athletes’ participation at the LA Games depends on their NOC selecting them to represent their delegation at LA28.
