Badminton: How to watch Loh Kean Yew live at World Championships – full schedule

The thirteen seed will begin his campaign in the first round against Brian Yang.

Loh Kean Yew is back in badminton action this week, featuring in the men’s singles at the 2026 BWF World Championships .

The 29-year-old, currently ranked 13th in the world, became the first Singaporean to medal at this event back in 2021 when he stormed to gold.

He has achieved several deep runs at tournaments since the turn of the new year, including a final appearance at the Singapore Open back in May where he was pipped to the title by Alex Lanier .

Loh begins his campaign in the first round, where he faces Canada’s unseeded Brian Yang . The date and time of this clash are yet to be scheduled.

The tournament itself will run from 17-23 August in New Delhi, India.
