The sisters will reunite for the doubles after they were awarded a wild card for the event, with their round of 32 match due to take place on Sunday (16th August).

Venus and Serena Williams are set to reunite on court at the 2026 Cincinnati Open on Sunday (16th August) - their first appearance as doubles partners in the tournament.

The legendary sisters have been awarded a doubles wild card for the August 11-23 tournament at the Lindner Family Tennis Center.

Venus Williams also received a singles wild card for the event, but was knocked out in the first round in straight sets, by Colombian Emilia Arango .

It was the American’s 14th straight loss, dating back to July last year.

As a doubles team, the Williams sisters have won 14 Grand Slam titles and three Olympic gold medals.

They last played together at the 2022 US Open.

They will face Peyton Stearns and Marta Kostyuk in their opening match.
