Moore BRL has once again been awarded the EcoVadis Silver Medal

Moore BRL GmbH, part of the BRL Group, has once again been awarded a silver medal in the latest EcoVadis Sustainability Rating and has further improved on last year’s overall score. This places Moore BRL amongst the top 15 per cent of companies assessed by EcoVadis worldwide and marks the company’s third consecutive award in the EcoVadis rating.

For Moore BRL, however, the medal itself is not the main focus. What matters most is the regular, independent review of the structures and processes that enable responsible business practices. The rating provides an independent assessment of this and, at the same time, highlights areas where sustainability performance can be further developed.

“We see this renewed silver medal as both a confirmation and an incentive. Sustainability is not demonstrated by a single measure, but by the quality of our processes, the reliability of our actions and our willingness to consistently address areas for improvement. The EcoVadis rating helps us to systematically develop our sustainability management further and to embed it as an integral part of our group-wide compliance management system,” explains Dr Oliver Bungartz , Partner and Head of the Risk Advisory service line.

EcoVadis – one of the world’s leading providers of sustainability ratings for companies – assesses companies’ sustainability performance across four areas: Environment, Labour & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement. The assessment methodology is based on international standards such as the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), the UN Global Compact and ISO 26000.
