Men’s Softball Australia Cup to feature Australia; Hong Kong, China and Singapore. Steelers roster announced

The Men’s Softball Australia Cup will bring together Australia; Hong Kong, China and Singapore at Redlands Softball Association from 22 to 25 October, Softball Australia announced.

Softball Australia also unveiled the 16 athletes selected to represent the Steelers at the international tournament:

Steelers head coach Adam Rindfleish said the event would provide an important opportunity for the athletes to showcase their abilities and continue developing combinations within the squad.

“ The Softball Australia Cup provides an excellent opportunity for this group to come together and compete in a representative environment,” Rindfleish said.

“With the addition of international opposition from Hong Kong and Singapore, the tournament will deliver valuable experiences for our athletes and help us continue building combinations and depth within the programme. It’s an exciting group that features athletes from across the country, and we’re looking forward to seeing them represent the Steelers on the national stage.”

The tournament will serve as good preparation for the WBSC Men’s Softball World Cup 2028

2029 continental qualifiers, which will take place next year. Australia finished seventh in the 2024

2025 edition after claiming the world champions title in 2022.
