Wilson doubles up as Graham and Fujimura take wins at Perisher ANC
A strong international field was in action at Perisher (AUS) earlier this week, as the Australian New Zealand Cup continued with two days of moguls competition on the Toppa’s Dream course.
Held as part of the Australian National Championships and including junior competitions, the event brought together athletes from Australia, Japan and beyond, with Perisher once again providing an important training and competition opportunity during the northern hemisphere summer.
The field featured plenty of World Cup experience, including Olympic champion Cooper Woods (AUS), who made his first competition start since claiming gold at Milano Cortina 2026. Fellow Australians Matt Graham, Charlotte Wilson and Jackson Harvey were also in action, while a strong Japanese contingent added further depth to the start list.
Wilson and Graham on top on day one
Charlotte Wilson (AUS) opened the week in impressive fashion, taking the women’s victory with 76.97 points.
Wilson led an Australian one-two ahead of Emma Bosco (AUS), who scored 73.13, while Japan’s Hikaru Sakai rounded out the podium in third place with 71.60 points.
In the men’s competition, Matt Graham (AUS) delivered the highest score of the day, taking victory with an impressive 88.09 points.
Behind him, 19-year-old Ikkei Fujimura (JPN) finished second with 86.63 points, while Jackson Harvey (AUS) completed the day-one podium in third place with 76.78 points.
Wilson completes the double, Fujimura steps up
Wilson continued her strong form on the second day of competition, improving her score to 77.94 points to make it two victories from two starts.
Bosco once again finished runner-up, this time with 75.70 points, while Mio Tani (JPN) took third place with 75.67, just 0.03 points behind the Australian.
Fujimura then went one better in the men’s event, producing one of the standout performances of the week.
After finishing runner-up to Graham on day one, the young Japanese skier stepped things up with an impressive 1440 on the bottom air on his way to a winning score of 88.00 points.
Harvey moved up one position to finish second with 82.07 points, while Graham completed the podium in third with 82.03, only 0.04 points behind his Australian teammate.
With two days of competition wrapped up, the Perisher ANC provided an early opportunity for established World Cup names and the next generation of moguls talent to test themselves in a high-quality international field.
For many of the athletes, however, the competitions were only part of the bigger picture, with Toppa’s Dream continuing to serve as one of the key training grounds during the northern hemisphere summer as preparations for the 2026
