The company is particularly interested in cooperation on LFAM-based large-scale tooling, moulds and demonstrators, MJF and FDM functional polymer parts, drone and mobility components, recycled or bio-based materials, Design for Additive Manufacturing (DfAM), testing, life cycle assessment (LCA) and process validation. - Full Description - A Turkish SME is seeking international R&D partners for Horizon Europe, Eureka, Eurostars and similar collaborative funding programmes in the field of advanced additive manufacturing and industrial product development. The company aims to contribute to R&D projects as an industrial additive manufacturing, demonstrator production and process development partner. Its capabilities include Large-Format Additive Manufacturing (LFAM), HP Multi Jet Fusion (MJF), Fused Deposition Modelling (FDM), SLA, reverse engineering, design optimisation, Design for Additive Manufacturing (DfAM), post-processing coordination, CNC finishing coordination through its partner network, and prototype-to-pilot production workflows. One key R&D focus is LFAM-based production of large-scale tooling, moulds, plugs, patterns, fixtures and demonstrators for composite and polymer applications. Possible products or demonstrators may include wind turbine blade moulds or plugs, composite tooling for large shell structures, unmanned aerial or marine vehicle body components, simulator and cabin components, automotive or mobility panels, architectural or public-use elements, large industrial models, jigs and fixtures, and selected end-use polymer or composite parts where material and process requirements are suitable. LFAM may be combined with CNC finishing, surface preparation, coating or sealing strategies to achieve the required dimensional accuracy and surface quality. A second focus is the development of functional polymer components using HP Multi Jet Fusion, FDM and related additive manufacturing technologies. Potential R&D topics may include lightweight drone and UAV components, mobility parts, housings, brackets, assembly components, low-volume end-use parts, functional prototypes, design iterations and validation parts. The SME is particularly interested in projects where additive manufacturing can reduce development time, enable part consolidation, support lightweight design or provide a scalable route from prototype to small- or medium-volume production. A third focus is the integration of sustainable materials, DfAM, testing and validation into additive manufacturing workflows. The company is open to projects involving recycled or bio-based polymer materials, fibre-reinforced compounds, material-process trials, mechanical testing, durability assessment, life cycle assessment (LCA), circularity, digital traceability and industrial validation. The SME can also facilitate access to local material development and compounding partners in Turkey, as well as academic expertise, testing facilities and laboratory infrastructure. The Turkish SME is looking for partners with complementary expertise in materials, design, simulation, testing, end-user applications, system integration, certification, LCA, circular economy and market deployment. Expected outcomes of such collaborations may include validated demonstrators, improved manufacturing processes, application-specific additive manufacturing workflows, new lightweight or functional components, and project results suitable for further industrial adoption. - Advantages and Innovations - The main advantage of this R&D cooperation concept is the combination of industrial additive manufacturing capability, application engineering know-how and access to a wider technical ecosystem for materials, testing and validation. Başaran Technology can help partners move from design concepts to physical demonstrators by combining Large-Format Additive Manufacturing (LFAM), HP Multi Jet Fusion (MJF), FDM, SLA, reverse engineering, DfAM, post-processing and prototype-to-pilot production workflows. The innovative potential lies in developing application-specific AM routes for large-scale tooling, moulds, plugs, fixtures, demonstrators and functional polymer components. LFAM can support faster and more flexible production of large parts and composite tooling compared to conventional tooling routes, especially for prototypes, low-volume production, design iterations and customised industrial applications. For functional polymer parts, MJF and FDM can enable lightweight component design, part consolidation, fast design validation and scalable production of complex geometries without conventional tooling investment. This is particularly relevant for drone
UAV components, mobility parts, housings, brackets, fixtures, simulator
cabin components and other technical polymer applications. The proposed cooperation may also create innovation through the use of recycled or bio-based polymer materials, fibre-reinforced compounds, material-process trials, lifecycle assessment, circularity, testing and digital traceability. By bringing together AM production, material development, engineering design and validation, the cooperation aims to create practical, tested and industry-relevant demonstrators suitable for further commercial or R&D exploitation. - Technical Specification or Expertise Sought - A Turkish SME is seeking international R&D partners with complementary expertise for Horizon Europe, Eureka, Eurostars and similar collaborative projects in advanced additive manufacturing applications. The company is particularly interested in partners with expertise in one or more of the following areas: * material development, polymer compounding, recycled or bio-based thermoplastics, and fibre-reinforced polymer composites; * design, simulation, Design for Additive Manufacturing (DfAM), topology optimisation, structural design, and lightweight component development; * mechanical testing, durability testing, fatigue testing, environmental ageing, fire behaviour, surface quality, and dimensional validation; * life cycle assessment (LCA), circular economy, recyclability, material traceability, and sustainability assessment; * composite manufacturing, tooling, mould production, wind energy components, unmanned aerial or marine vehicle components, simulator and cabin structures, mobility parts, or industrial demonstrators; * end-user validation, pilot applications, certification requirements, market deployment, and exploitation. Suitable partners may include universities, research and technology organisations, material developers, compounders, OEMs, industrial manufacturers, drone and UAV companies, marine or mobility companies, wind energy technology developers, composite manufacturers, testing institutes, design and engineering companies, and end-users with real application cases. The Turkish SME can contribute industrial additive manufacturing capabilities, particularly Large-Format Additive Manufacturing (LFAM), as well as HP Multi Jet Fusion (MJF), Fused Deposition Modelling (FDM), SLA, DfAM, reverse engineering, prototype production, process development, post-processing, and CNC finishing coordination. - Stage of Development - Under development - Sustainable Development Goals - Goal 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure - IPR status - No IPR applied Partner Sought - Expected Role of a Partner - A Turkish SME is looking for partners to jointly develop R&D project proposals for Horizon Europe, Eureka, Eurostars and similar international funding programmes in the fields of advanced additive manufacturing and industrial product development. Expected partners may contribute to one or more of the following roles: * defining real industrial use cases, product requirements and demonstrator specifications; * material development, polymer compounding, recycled or bio-based thermoplastic materials, and fibre-reinforced composites; * design, simulation, Design for Additive Manufacturing (DfAM), structural optimisation, topology optimisation and engineering validation; * wind energy, UAV
