AccessibleEU joins this edition as co-organiser together with Orfűi Turisztikai Egyesület (Orfű Tourism Association) as the main organiser, Municipality of Orfű, People First Association and Gyeregyalog Egyesület.

The main objectives are to: - raise awareness on accessibility needs in tourism and leisure activites, and introduce new accessible services as good practices, such as audio guidance and extended sign language interpretation. - help people with disabilities to have a positive experience with various activities, incuding “once-in-a-year” opportunities. - introduce inclusive attitude through volunteer assistants, participating in sports, cultural and leisure activities together with disabled persons. - in a specific AccessibleEU workshop held during the day, explore current issues that are crucial to the everyday lives of people with disabilities such as the role of volunteer assistance, the state of accessible tourism and the most important EU initiatives and measures that affect the rights, social participation and equal opportunities of people with disabilities. An AccessibleEU stand will also be available during the day.

Target audience: Persons with disabilities. Professionals working on areas related to tourism, including web marketing, etc. Other people interested in tourism related activities.

Where: Day activities at multiple locations at Lake Orfű - Baranya, Hungary. AccessibleEU workshop at “Medvehagyma Ház”, Dollár u 2

Accessibility information: Accessibility adaptations made for the event on the open spaces. Mobile accessible toilets. Automatic captioning and sign language adaptation in Hungarian. Audio guides.
