Starting in October, flights every Saturday to Egypt’s famous temples

From the Rhine to the Nile: Starting October 17, Air Cairo will launch a new route between Cologne Bonn Airport and Luxor. The Egyptian airline will connect Cologne

Bonn with the historically significant city every Saturday, thereby expanding its offerings at the airport to include another destination.

“With Luxor, Air Cairo’s Egypt service at Cologne Bonn Airport expands to four direct destinations. We are very pleased that our passengers will have even more opportunities to discover Egypt in the future,” says Thilo Schmid, Chairman of the Management Board of Flughafen Köln

Luxor is home to some of the country’s most famous sights, including the temples of Karnak and Luxor, as well as the tombs in the Valley of the Kings. The city is also of interest to travelers planning a Nile cruise or a round-trip tour of Egypt. Those who wish to combine a stay in Luxor or a Nile cruise with a beach vacation on the Red Sea can fly with Air Cairo from Cologne

Bonn to Luxor and return to the Rhineland from Hurghada, for example.

Air Cairo’s service from Cologne
