Trøndelag Theatre - Fanny and Alexander
Join the NITO pensioners and experience Ingmar Bergman’s classic story
A gripping tale of imagination, family and freedom
The Ekdahl family lives a life filled with theatre, laughter, art and strong emotions. But when their father dies and their mother marries a strict bishop, Fanny and Alexander are torn away from the warm and free family life.
Through Alexander’s eyes, we get to experience the conflict between fantasy and reality, freedom and authority. It is a story about the magic of childhood and the power of imagination, but also about how the imagination can become a safeguard when reality becomes difficult.
Bergman’s film classic won four Academy Awards and has touched audiences all over the world. Now the story is brought to the stage at Trøndelag Theatre, directed by Hanne Tømta.
We meet before the performance at 18:00 for a simple refreshment at the Theatre. It is nice if you show up well in advance, so that there is time for refreshments and to find your seats before the performance starts at 19:00.
It is limited to 40 places, and the places are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
When registering, you state whether you register yourself or want to have a companion with you. If the event is fully booked, you can put yourself on a waiting list.
Please note that the registration is binding after the registration deadline.
