Belgrade - JEFF Zürich has won the competition to design the Swiss Pavilion at Expo 2027 in Belgrade. The creative agency is implementing the Expo motto “Play for Humanity”: Its draft envisages a playground for dialog.

( CONNECT ) JEFF Zürich AG will design the Swiss Pavilion at Expo 2027 in Belgrade. The creative agency reportedly won the competition advertised by the communication unit of the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs , Presence Switzerland , according to a statement by JEFF Zürich. EXPO 2027 will be held in Belgrade next year from May 15 to August 15.

The motto of next year’s world exhibition is “Play for Humanity: sport and music for all”. JEFF Zürich is connecting this motto with the use of Switzerland for international dialog. The creative agency writes: “Switzerland has held channels open for centuries while others fall silent and promotes international dialog. Play is probably the most universal form of dialog.” When designing the draft, JEFF Zürich collaborated with Bellprat Partner , an agency that is also based in Zurich.

Manuel Salchli, Commissioner of the Swiss Pavilion at Präsenz Schweiz, believes that the expo’s motto invites participants to think playfully. He added: “JEFF took this seriously. With this concept, JEFF transforms the Swiss Pavilion into a playground for dialog.” More than 130 countries are expected to take part in the world exhibition 2027 in Belgrade. Approximately 4 million visitors are anticipated. ce
