5- TRANSPORTS

Federations are responsible for all international travel costs.

Spartner Agency is in charge for transportation from and to the airports and train stations.

All federation will be welcomed at international Paris airports (Charles De Gaulle or Orly) or train stations according to the travel plan received by the LOC.

The Accor Arena is at a walking distance from all official hotels. No shuttle bus.

6- MEALS

Meals booked with the LOC through Spartner Agency will be served at the restaurant of the hotel “Novotel Paris Bercy” for all the delegations.

Showing of accreditations will be mandatory to access dinner.

Opening hours:

  • Lunch from 11.30 to 14.30
  • Dinner from 19.00 to 22.30

A farewell party is offered to all federations that have booked accommodation with the LOC through Spartner Agency. It will take place on Sunday September 27th at 20.30 - Salon Starlight (Accor Arena).

More information will be provided at the orientation meeting.

7.2- Format:

World Challenge Cup rules 2025-2028 and FIG Technical Regulations will apply for Qualifications and Finals.

Qualifications:

▪ Participation is limited to 2 gymnasts per NF on each apparatus. ▪ In addition, the Organizing Member Federation is allowed to name a max. of 4 “hors concours” competitors (from the Organizing Member Federation) in Women’s Artistic Gymnastics and a max. of 4 “hors concours” competitors (from the Organizing Member Federation) in Men’s Artistic Gymnastics for a total of 8 “hors concours” gymnasts (i.e. while one “hors concours” gymnast can compete on more than one apparatus, not more than one “hors concours” gymnast can compete on an apparatus). They must be named at the time of the closing of the nominative registration, and they cannot qualify for the Finals. They are not eligible to receive World Challenge Cup points; they must not appear on the official results lists and they will have to start first at every apparatus. ▪ A competitor can be registered as “Gymnast” on an apparatus and as “Hors-Concours Gymnast” on another apparatus. ▪ WGYM Apparatus Finals rules will be applied for vault. ▪ In case of a tie at any place, the tie-breaking rules as set up in the Technical Regulations, Section 2, shall be applied.

Finals:

▪ The best eight gymnasts per apparatus from the qualifications qualify for the Finals ▪ Participation is limited to 2 gymnasts per NF on each apparatus. ▪ In addition to the 8 finalists, if the Organizing Member Federation is not represented in the Finals (men or women), it has the right of maximum 2 wild cards as follows: 1 man and 1 woman gymnast only at one apparatus each. Gymnasts entering in Apparatus Final with wild card will have to start first. ▪ These “Wild Card Gymnasts” must have participated at the respective apparatus in the qualification. ▪ “Wild Card Gymnasts” will receive medals and prize money. ▪ “Wild Card Gymnasts” will receive World Challenge Cup points (if any) based on the ranking obtained during Qualifications. ▪ WGYM Apparatus Finals rules will be applied for vault. ▪ In case of a tie at any place, the tie-breaking rules as set up in the Technical Regulations, Section 2, shall be applied.

7.3- Participation and drawing of lots

Gymnasts can only compete on the apparatus they register for. At the time of the nominative registration, the apparatus on which the gymnast will compete must be mentioned. Until accreditation, gymnast may be changed, and apparatus can be added as long as 2 gymnasts/apparatus/NF is respected. All delegations upon accreditation must submit a confirmation of starting order forms, a final validation of the delegation’s apparatus and starting order. Draws for qualifications and finals will be conducted electronically on Friday, September 25th at 12.30. The result of the draw will be shared to the delegations via Sportity (see 8.2) and confirmed during the orientation meeting.

7.4- Size of delegation

Maximum number of gymnasts and officials per delegation is according to the WGYM rules, as follows:

Access to warm-up, training and FOP will be restricted to the number of gymnasts in training or competition, including Wild card and “hors concours” gymnasts

8- ORGANISATION

8.1- Accreditation for delegations

The Accreditation centre will be in the hall of the delegations’ entrance, gate 28.

Open hours:

Thursday September 24th

Friday September 25th and Saturday 26th 8.00 to 20.30

Sunday September 27th

9.00 to 19.30

The Head of Delegation or their representative must be present at the accreditation according to the time scheduled for his/her federation with the following documents:

Passports of all the members of the delegation

Contact details*

Flag confirmation and National anthem

Medical insurance for each delegation member

Financial payments evidence

Confirmation of the apparatus of gymnasts for the qualification and make any necessary replacements

Give the change of apparatus height if necessary

Confirm departure plan, time flight/train number and airport/train station

  • At accreditation, head of delegation will have to give his/her e-mail and mobile phone details to receive all necessary information regarding the competition during the stay of their delegation.

Reminder: modifications of the apparatus on which the gymnast will compete can ONLY be made until accreditation. ANY FURTHER CHANGES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. After this final confirmation of apparatus, only withdrawals will be accepted (no modification of apparatus). Withdrawal form must be duly completed, signed by the head of delegation and given at information desk. No other process of information of withdrawals will be taken into consideration.

8.2- Information desk

Information desk is located Gate 28. All necessary information related to the event will be delivered on the Sportity application

A WhatsApp group will be created for urgent questions to be asked only. Training and competition schedule will also be displayed at gate 28 and in the training hall.

8.3- Orientation meeting

Orientation meeting will take place on Friday September 25th at 19.00: Accor Arena - Room Chabala. Participating federation attendance is compulsory. A maximum of 1 person per delegation is invited to participate: the Head of Delegation or their representative. ‘New Elements’ documents must be presented to WGYM delegates at the latest at the orientation meeting. All necessary questions must be addressed either at Orientation Meeting or through the information desk gate 28.

8.4- Sustainable development

The French Federation acts for sustainable development. In this approach, the LOC will:

  • Limit the use of plastic bottles to the minimum. To accompany it, the LOC requests every member of the delegations to come with their personal sports bottle. To reach this goal, the LOC will provide some water areas to fill each accredited person’s sports bottle.
  • Ask all members of the de
