Dr Haowen Zhao About Haowen Zhao obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from Central South University in 2017. He then pursued doctoral studies at Zhejiang University, earning his Ph.D. in 2023. From 2021 to 2023, he worked as a visiting student in the research group of Prof. Rolf Müller at HIPS. In 2024, he rejoined HIPS as a postdoctoral researcher under the supervision of Prof. Rolf Müller. His current research centers on discovering novel bioactive natural products from actinomycetes and myxobacteria and elucidating their biosynthetic pathways.
