Vacancy notice: Visa Officers, Locally Employed, at the Norwegian Embassy in Beijing

Position type: Full-time. Start-up date: As soon as possible.

The Visa Section at the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Beijing is seeking two locally employed Visa Officers for temporary two-year contracts.

Register visa and permit applications, perform initial case processing, and print visa stickers.

Coordinate the receipt of visa applications from the service provider and carry out visa sticker issuance in accordance with established procedures.’

Perform other tasks as needed by the Visa Section.

Prior experience with visa-related tasks in similar roles at a Norwegian Foreign Service Mission is an advantage.

Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Norwegian are an advantage

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel.

Experience working in a cross-cultural environment.

Must be able to work as part of a team.

Must work in a structured, independent, and efficient manner with strong attention to details

Must have solid communication skills.
