Practical information When Thursday 10 September 2026, 15:20 (CEST) Languages Lithuanian
When: Thursday 10 September 2026, 15:20 (CEST)
This AccessibleEU workshop, jointly organised with the Union of Lithuanian People with Disabilities and the Ministry of Transport, will focus on this question and explore how specific works can be carried out to allow everyone – regardless of their ability – to travel freely and without obstacles around Lithuania.
What do we want to achieve? •To see the situation through the eyes of passengers: Understand what has really changed in our travels over the past year directly from user experiences and not just on paper. • Connect all the parts: Understand that the journey does not begin when you get on the bus, but when you leave your home (stops, information, tickets). • Agree on changes: Explore how good ideas can turn into real, convenient routes.
Target audience: State institutions: Representatives of the Ministry of Transport, Seimas committees and municipalities (decision makers). Carriers and managers: Managers of public transport fleets, LTG Link, airports and station infrastructure specialists. Experts: Urban planners, architects and IT specialists developing ticketing and information systems. Disability community: NGO representatives and individuals who face mobility barriers on a daily basis. Business representatives: Ride-hailing platforms (Bolt, Uber) and social taxi service providers.
